Sure, I've lived through 23 different seasons of Autumn, but being a Kansas native never truly experienced it.
You know, the cold, crisp temperatures.
The gorgeous changing leaves.
Colorado is giving me my first official Autumn Season.
I told my husband all I wanted, ever again -- for my whole entire life, was to drive through the Mountains, the winding curvy roads and see all the Fall Foliage.
He made it happen.
Yesterday he chauffeured me & our little Olive through the Rockies & up to our favorite little place, Lake San Isabel.
It was refreshing, calming & after not spending a single day with my husband in 4 weeks, it was everything the two of us, three counting our Olive, needed.

is a tiny little gift to me.
