Sweet, sweet Baby O is becoming quite the chunk, weighing 6 (+) pounds & measuring 19 inches long! He is shedding his vernix caseosa this week, the waxy substance that covered and protected his baby skin while he enjoyed his 9 month stay in my uterus.

Baby O is weighing an estimated 6 & 1/3 pounds this week, although momma thinks he's weighing a little bit more than that, and measuring a solid 19 inches. AND we're considered term! WOOHOO!
How Is Mommy?
Impatient. I thought towards the end of this pregnancy I would be able to relax more & not feel so anxious as my I did my first time around. Not true. I'm just as anxious & stoked to meet this little boy as I was to meet his big brother two years ago. And, leave it to my children to be as stubborn as possible & keep me waiting. I know I'm driving my husband completely insane, complaining that I'm going to be pregnant for the rest of my life.
Bipolar Energy. I'm not sure what else to call it. One day [it even changes as much as hourly..] I'll be bursting with all sorts of energy, nesting my big, pregnant booty off & the next day [or hour] I'm a big worthless blob! Oh, pregnancy. You're so weird.
Craving! My chocolate cravings are just out of control.
Back Pain. Beginning in my 37th week, I started having the worst lower back pain. Only on my left side. It hurts to even walk. This is supposed to be a sign that labor is near, as baby is so low. I'm beginning to doubt this theory.
Braxton Hicks. [OR false labor] Yep, having those. I didn't have one single contraction my first time around until I started labor. I was induced at 40 weeks + 1 day.
Dilation. Only dilated to a 1, maybe 1 & 1/2. But I feel all sorts of pressure down there.
Weight. Right on track, I've gained 26 pounds. Starting weight was 105 -- I weigh 131 at 37 weeks.
